Our Shield team were at the TechXchange in Las Vegas last month. We’d like to thank all those who visited our booth and chatted with Chris and Charlie. A special thank you to COMMON too, for providing vendor space at the event.
A brilliant conference with loads of new technologies and emerging information. It was particularly great to see a dedicated Power Systems IBM i component to the event. Having supplied solutions for IBM i for many years, we are always pleased to support the platform to help ensure it’s longevity.

AAG – Nagios Monitoring for IBM i – proving popular using Nagios XI or for smaller businesses a Raspberry Pi to monitor your systems. With more than 180 check points, AAG helps a busy administrator be pro-active and have peace of mind that all is running smoothly.
HA4i – Shield’s High Availability solution is used worldwide supporting large and small organizations. Fresh code ensures low overhead for this simple to use and maintain this solution for maintain data integrity.
EM4i – Enterprise messaging allows notifications through Pushover or Email to your phone – with the ability to respond. This means operators seldom need to sign onto their IBM i from home over the weekend.
JT4i – brings the job tracking component to any HA solution – large enterprises have been relying on this product for many years. They’ve declared that switching for maintenance would impossible without JT4i.
FT4i – Shield’s newest solution is FTP security for IBM i. Giving management the ability to understand and control FTP activity on the IBM i.
Simply i – Chris’ technical blog has many followers who enjoy exchange, hints and tips and sometimes free code etc. Shield programs in C, works with Nagios, RPis etc.,
